Find your track. Secure your seat. Start your journey.
BEAR+ Admissions & Placement
Who Can Apply
BEAR+ is open to all high school students in grades 9–12. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn. Students at every level, from beginners to advanced, will find a place where they can grow.
Application Process
Admissions begins with a simple online application. Families provide basic student information, choose preferred camp tracks, and select session dates. Registration is always free, and payment is only required once your seat is confirmed.
Placement Survey
After registration, students complete a short readiness survey. This helps us understand your current skills, interests, and goals so we can place you in the right track. On the first day of camp, an optional skills check ensures you’re learning at the right pace.
Team Formation
BEAR+ is built on collaboration. Students are placed into balanced teams that include builders, coders, analysts, and creative thinkers. Every student contributes meaningfully, whether through engineering, coding, design, or presenting.
Timeline
- Applications open in the spring.
- Seats are confirmed once payment is received (90 days before the program start).
- Placement surveys are due at least 30 days before camp.
- Final team assignments are shared during orientation on Day 1.
Your Next Step
Admission into BEAR+ is first-come, first-served and seats are limited. Secure your spot early, complete your placement survey, and get ready to start your journey as a maker, coder, gamer, or future innovator.
