Our Origin Story
An so it began...
ThinkerBox was born from the visionary mind of Armand Poblete, a respected faculty member in Information Systems and a Senior Industry Engagement Strategist at the School of Business Administration. Armand’s passion for technology and education, coupled with his commitment to social change, led to the creation of ThinkerBox.
Our journey began with a milestone project that set the tone for our future endeavors. With were honored to serve as consultants for a major international project, SELEVER (meaning ‘get up’ or ‘stand up’ in French), run by Tanger International, a US-based non-profit. In this capacity, we supported and facilitated the design and development of Ujazi+, a personal financial app. This project not only marked our first foray into the global arena but also solidified our commitment to delivering innovative solutions with real-world impact.
Together with a dedicated team of students and staff, ThinkerBox is not just an idea – it’s a movement. We’re bridging gaps, breaking barriers, and building a better future, one innovative solution at a time.
